Although the Street View vehicle performs the mapping of everyday life on Earth, the 360-degree lens records everything that is happening around it, including what is above the vehicle, for this reason, tree branches, birds and planes appear frequently on Google Maps and Google Earth digital devices.
The plane's record over the city of York happened when the Street View vehicle was mapping W Hope Ave, almost at the corner of Green St, near number 446.

With the normal screen, the aircraft practically goes unnoticed, however, after performing the approximation (zoom), it is possible to understand that it is a plane. In the image, the aircraft appears in the only space in blue, as the rest of the sky over York is whitish due to the presence of clouds.
If you accurately visualize the entire sky, especially the clouds, you will clearly see the presence of white trails left by an aircraft. Chemical trails that have the power to effect climate change, for example. Despite the coincidence, there is no way to prove whether the aircraft was the cause of the chemical trails.
